Message when it hits the rev limiter, that provides some load... not much, but enough to generate 5-7 psi of boost.

: How do you build boost in a five speed without presenting a load on the engine, (like a partial clutch engaement)? Under observation on my boost gauge I dont build any "POSITIVE" boost just reving the engine with the car at a stand still at any RPM. Does this quote below mean that once boost has been raised to a certain level after you engage the clutch the controller will take care of the throtle adjustment if you keep the accelerator down? The only way I know of to get any positive boost for a good launch with a 5speed is to ride the clutch with the emergency brake on to build the desired boost then launch and let er rip.

: "Once max boost is generated (around 5-7psi in Stg 3 car @ 5500rpm limiter), you let go of the clutch. The system modulates engine power to control wheel spin - gradually feeding in engine power until full power is unleashed and then it's time for 2nd gear! The launch is absolutely incredible, but a side effect is you have to have a good clutch, otherwise this will ruin the clutch quickly."

: Please clarify or correct my logic on this question???
